The room was spotless and individual, the hotel was fairly clean. The restaurant was WONDERFUL for Sunday lunch Trackside cafe & bar here, I had warm dishes. Really enjoyed cereal, breads, croissants, jam and butter at breakfast. The location was brilliant, within walking distance of The Plug. The venue itself was in a pretty nice area. The stay was such great, recommend.

The fine views of the Duddon Estuary from the Beautiful Double Room with Sea View were a highlight, giving a picturesque backdrop to my stay. And direct access to the English coastal path was perfect for scenic walks and enjoying the fresh air.
The breakfast setup left something to be desired. The only options were prepackaged with limited variety, disappointing. The kitchen facilities were pretty basic, lacking even a sink. The mattresses felt overly soft, which didn't help my back at all, and I noticed that cleanliness standards could improve with bins not emptied . Finally, there was a tad too much noise filtering through from the adjacent rooms-it interrupted my otherwise peaceful experience.

Perfect family getaway!
We loved the breakfast variety, especially the fresh fruits! The garden was a nice chill spot for the kids. The room was super clean and the view was just wow. A tiny drawback was the bathroom could use a bit more space. But honestly, this place is a steal for the price.

great stay, but minor improvements needed
The fine views from my room brought a sense of calm every morning. The personal touch in the decor. The location was perfect, just a short walk to a charming market town with lovely dining options. I particularly enjoyed the garden view that offered a peaceful retreat.
Some small storage space in the room would have enhanced my comfort.
